Hi, I have tried your workaround, but it does not cut it for me. First of all, normal suspend works once and only once after every boot. So I tried to modify /etc/default/acpi-support like you did and then ran sleep.sh. Same thing, it works fine the first time. Next time I try, it outputs

cat: /etc/network/run/ifstate: No such file or directory
cat: /etc/network/run/ifstate: No such file or directory

and then nothing more happens.

Also, after a successful wakeup, sleep.sh doesn't finish. I have to kill it with "sudo killall -9 sleep.sh"

Any ideas?

Synergy is the best way to manage multiple machines out there. I used it so much I put it into my OpenSolaris binary package repository: http://pkg.unixzen.com

Just grab one and issue a pkgadd -d and you will be good to go!

Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. For everyone's benifit, the link above suggests adding "AllowTcpForwarding" to the sshd_config and restarting SSH.
